Terms and Conditions
A valid credit card is required to guarantee a reservation. Must be 21+ to check in to the inn. Check-in is 4:00pm to 8:00pm with self-check-in after 8:00pm. Room rates include breakfast. Rates are based on double occupancy (unless otherwise noted), check-in date, and length of stay. Early departure will result in a charge equal to the balance of your reservation. Totals are estimated based on number of guests, current taxes, and exchange rates (if applicable) and do not include additional fees/charges that may be incurred during your stay. Additional guests and/or children will be charged to your accommodation based on the number of guests selected. Children ages 0-6 stay for FREE. Guest parking is self-parking on site.
A deposit of 50% of your total stay is required to confirm your reservation and will be charged to your credit card at the time the reservation is made. If you book a non-refundable Advance Purchase rate, 100% of the stay will be charged to your credit card at the time the reservation is made. Advance Purchase Rates require 21-day advance purchase. No refunds, changes, or cancelations may be made after booking.
If you cancel your reservation more than 7 days before arrival, we will refund your deposit minus a cancellation fee ($35 for rooms, $75 for cottages). If you choose to reschedule your reservation you will not be charged the cancellation fee and the deposit will be converted into a resort lodging credit valid for the calendar year. Cancellations or change requests that occur within 7 days of arrival will not be refunded.
Ocean Gate Inn provides many inclusive benefits through a guest amenity fee calculated at 5% per room. The amenity fee provides:
- Two waters in room upon arrival
- In-room Keurig coffee maker and K-Cups
- Wireless internet in guest rooms and public spaces where available
- Use of our indoor game room, outdoor heated pool, tennis and pickleball courts, basketball court, canoes, kayaks, paddle boards, and fishing equipment
- Complimentary access to the Boothbay Harbor YMCA including therapy and lap pools, indoor track, cardio room, weight room and basketball courts
- Coffee and tea station in lobby refreshed 8am-8pm
- Weekly s’mores around the campfire
PET POLICY
We welcome dogs to stay in our Chickadee and Osprey cottages and in guest rooms located in Tidewater, Islandview, and Pineview. To arrange for your dog to join you, book in advance with reservations. An extra fee of$25 per day, per pet applies. Our policy is as follows:
- Maximum of two dogs max are welcome in each accommodation
- No security deposit required; however owners are responsible for damages or injuries caused by pets
- Dogs must be leashed in public areas and supervised
- Owners must clean up after their dogs
- Dogs are not allowed in pool area, indoor spaces, sport courts or non-pet friendly accommodations
- $100 per day cleaning fee is charged if a pet is found in a non pet-friendly room or suite
SMS and Text Messaging Policy
We use a guest messaging platform to communicate with you regarding your stay. By providing your phone number during the booking process, you consent to receive text messages from the property.
Purpose: Text messaging may be used to send check-in instructions, access information, room readiness updates, and to respond to your requests during your stay.
Opt-Out: You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive. You will receive a final confirmation message, after which no further SMS messages will be sent.
Help: If you experience issues or need assistance, you may reply HELP or contact the front desk directly.
Privacy of Mobile Data: No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
